The 10-week Business Analytics Professional Certificate in collaboration with Ziplines, Inc. (Formerly GreenFig) provides concepts and strategies delivered via videos featuring industry professionals and structured content, hands-on practice, and weekly, optional, live-online sessions. Participants acquire the following key competencies during this 10-week program: • Explaining the importance of analytics to an organization and outlining the role of a business analyst in relation to other key functional areas. • Developing the appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure a project, business opportunity, etc., to create measurable business value. • Implementing the process that supports data analytics, from data sourcing, modeling, reporting and visualization. • Developing SQL queries allowing you to extract and report on data stored in a database. • Delivering relevant, impactful data visualizations using in-demand software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau. • Creating a set of specific career goals aligning your background/experience with the role of a business analyst in your target industry To complete the Business Analytics Professional Certificate, each participant must: • Spend four to six hours weekly, engaging with on-demand content • Complete hands-on activities and assignments • Achieve at least 70% on the module quizzes • Create a Strategic Business Analytics Playbook with best practices, diagrams and templates on concepts such as Data Modeling, Accessing Date with SQL and KPI Development This badge was issued to participants upon successful completion of the program during the Spring 2023-Spring 2024 semesters.
